Kelly Carroll
Founder, Lead Strategist
Kelly realized her talent for compelling writing early on, and has integrated it into every phase of her career.
After earning her degree in English from Boston College (where she also served as head manager of the men's basketball team), Kelly studied journalism at Boston University and worked in local news for several years before transitioning to higher education communications.
From 2012-2017, Kelly worked in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at Columbia Law School, playing a key role in building the school’s new brand identity, which included a new website content management system and the launch of new social media platforms and strategies. During this time, Kelly also pursued a master’s degree in Columbia's Sports Management Program, leading to a role in sports communications at Manhattan College, where she oversaw all digital communications, led media relations strategies for her assigned teams, and supported the school's ESPN broadcast initiatives.
Most recently, Kelly served as Director of Content and Media at DREAM/Harlem RBI, a youth-serving nonprofit organization in New York City. There, she developed and led content strategies in support of the organization’s public relations, partnerships, recruitment, and fundraising goals.
Kelly is currently pursuing a professional certification in Sports Philanthropy from The George Washington University School of Business, while serving on the faculty of Columbia University’s Sports Management Program, and as a Laureus Sport for Good NYC Council Member.
